Los Angeles Adult Entertainment: CAPTURED: Manhattan Beach police track down the ‘Barbie Bandit’
After the tip, a witness from the bank identified her in a photo lineup, Rosenberger added.
Detectives determined that Rogova was in jail in San Bernardino County, where she has ties.
Rosenberger and another officer went to the jail early this morning after learning that she was scheduled to be released at 6 a.m.
As Rogova walked to a car waiting to pick her up, the Manhattan Beach officers moved in and handcuffed her.
Rogova told Rosenberger she did the crimes for the money and mentioned that others were involved, but did not give specifics.
The detective said he expected that she would post $20,000 bail today and be released.
Rogova was arrested for prostitution in January 2009 after a Montclair police officer witnessed her retreating to a restroom inside a 7-Eleven with a store clerk. She apparently exchanged store merchandise for her services.
