Los Angeles Massage Parlors: Victim identifies suspect in rape case
Two days authorities found her car, the teen was driving along the 7900 block of Vineland Avenue when she recognized her suspected attacker on the street. She watched him enter the Los Angeles Public Library in Sun Valley and called Stone.
“It just worked out that I had a determined and courageous survivor who kept her wits about her,” Stone said.
“I give all the credit to the young lady whose memory of this individual was burned into her memory. She was dead on.”
Stone said it has been more than 10 years since he has worked with a victim whose observation skills helped nab a suspect.
In 1998, some men on a robbery spree of massage parlors robbed a woman working at one. The men also had a pattern of returning to the massage parlors and robbing them again.
