BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Reporters from across North America attending the biannual Television Critics Association tour got an unusual wakeup message at 6:36 a.m. PDT at the Beverly Hilton on Wednesday.
Good morning, television critics of America – my name is Craig Ferguson, the message began.
In the background you could hear the live audience laughing at The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which originates on CBS.
The sound of people laughing is the laughter at your shame, Fergusons message continued. Theyre laughing because of what you did last night.
You thought nobody knew, but CBS had secret cameras all over that gentlemens club.
Get up, lets get at em!
Through the years Ferguson regularly has had fun with critics at the TCA event. He usually sends a stack of pizzas to the TCA business meeting, in what he describes as a shameless attempt to buy your favour.

The incidents follow a report earlier this month of a sexual assault that might have involved a “date rape” drug. Folly Beach police are investigating the report.
A woman said she went to the Jaguars Gentlemen’s Club in Charleston on July 15, where an older male bought her a drink, according a police report. She left with a friend to eat dinner on Folly Beach and began to feel incoherent and groggy during the trip. She vaguely recalled entering the restaurant, but the next thing she remembered was being awakened by a young couple on the side of the road on James Island.

Los Angeles Adult Entertainment: Arraignment Postponed for Grim Sleeper Suspect
Superior Court Judge Hilleri G. Merritt rejected a defense argument to ban cameras from the courtroom today. Deputy Alternate Public Defender Richard L. Sternfeld, appointed as Franklin’s new lawyer, had argued that due to the ongoing investigation, it would be prejudicial to allow the defendant to be photographed.
Family members of the victims sat in court watching the proceedings.
Before Franklin was identified as a suspect, investigators used forensic evidence to link eight murders between 1985 and 1988, and three murders between 2001 and 2007, to the same killer, Los Angeles police Detective Dennis Kilcoyne said.
The killer was dubbed the Grim Sleeper because of the 13-year break between killing sprees.
Many of the killer’s victims were prostitutes. Some were raped before being shot to death with a small-caliber handgun. Their bodies were dumped in alleys and trash bins in South Los Angeles, Inglewood and unincorporated county areas.

The weeklong exercise — unbeknownst to the public — involved Marines dressed in jeans and T-shirts observing drugs busts, witnessing prostitution arrests and even following a murder case. It was the largest group of Marines to embed with the city’s officers.

The latest bone of contention for Pakistani critics is John Travolta’s From Paris With Love, which released this February. According to Wikipedia, it reportedly depicts Pakistanis as part of a “labyrinth of cocaine and prostitution, and (who) hang around with explosive vests on their tables. Furthermore, their plot is to infiltrate the US Embassy with explosives hidden beneath their burqas.”

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Casey Affleck is being sued by a woman claiming she was fired from his film when she refused to spend the night with him. The “Gone Baby Gone” star calls Amanda White’s allegations “preposterous and without merit.”
According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, White claims she was constantly harassed by the 34-year-old actor during the filming of the documentary “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix.” White was a producer on the film.
The suit, obtained by eonline.com, states: “Affleck repeatedly referred to women as ‘cows;’ he discussed his sexual exploits and those of other celebrities that he allegedly witnessed; and asked [White], after learning her age, ‘Isn’t it about time you get pregnant?’”
While shooting in Costa Rica, White alleges that she was unable to go to her hotel room one night because the actor and Phoenix were in there. Affleck also hired prostitutes while in Las Vegas for “his personal gratification.”
